Do I need to book a table?

Can I just turn up for takeaway?
Absolutely! Many of the menu items, including seafood platters and hot dishes, are available for takeaway. Just check the menu online and call ahead if you’d like something specific.
Is it really BYOB?

Yes, there’s parking available close to the restaurant. However, do check tide times, as the Strood (the road leading onto Mersea Island) can become impassable at high tide.
